FAKE Double Drabble: A Clear Head

Title: A Clear Head
Fandom: FAKE
Author: badly_knitted
Characters: Ryo, Dee.
Rating: PG
Challenge: 74: Clear at drabble_weekly.
Spoilers/Setting: Vol. 7, Act 20.
Summary: Now Ryo has had a change to sort out his feelings, he’s ready to move forward with his and Dee’s relationship.
Disclaimer: I don’t own FAKE, or the characters. They belong to the wonderful Sanami Matoh.

Ryo had spent a long time with his mind clogged by a fog of indecision, wondering whether or not he should surrender to Dee’s advances, and whether it would change things between them if he did. Well, of course it had; the night they’d spent together three weeks ago had been amazing; it had left Ryo with a clear head for the first time in years.

He’d needed some time after that to get used to the changes within himself, and to adjust to being a gay man rather than a man who was in denial about being gay, but now he’d thought things through and was pretty sure he was comfortable with the idea of being in a relationship with Dee. He was rather glad too that Dee had allowed him the time and space he needed to adjust without pouncing on him or demanding a repeat of that night. His partner could be amazingly considerate when he tried.

Now he’d got his thoughts in order, Ryo’s next step was obvious; he’d invite Dee out for dinner at that restaurant Ted had been going on about, then for a romantic stroll afterwards.

It would be like a proper date.

The End

I Love Janto

Dee made the first move. The second move is Ryo's.
He will do this the right way.

Re: I Love Janto

He will, he just has to find Dee, who's up on the roof having a smoke.

Thank you!

Re: I Love Janto

True, when he finds him.
Dee will have no problem saying yes

Re: I Love Janto

It's a scene from the manga, so Dee does say yes, but he thinks it's just a friends thing. As is often the case, lack of communication is getting in the way.
They do end up having a good night ;)

Thank you!
A date is a great place to start.
And it worked out well, even if Dee didn't realise it was a date until after dinner, lol!

Thank you!
