A/N: This one’s a drabble and a half, 150 words.
“Dee, we’re having a few friends over to watch a ball game, not opening a bar!” Ryo exclaimed, watching his partner unload crates of beer from the trunk of his car and stack them on the sidewalk, the bottles clinking musically against each other.
“They were on offer so I figured we might as well stock up, it’ll save money in the long run.”
“And where d’you intend to store the extras until we get around to drinking them?” Ryo ask, torn between exasperation and amusement. “There’s no way they’ll fit in the refrigerator; the most we can cram in there at one time is a couple of dozen. How many did you get anyway?”
“Ten crates; wholesalers do real bargains!”
“Ten? That’s a hundred and twenty bottles! They’ll last forever!”
Dee snorted. “Hardly. The way our friends put ‘em away? We’ll be lucky if this lot lasts three weeks.”
