Dee had dated a lot of men and women before meeting Ryo, all of them physically attractive and most of them nice enough people because what was the point of dating someone you didn’t like? There were some things even great sex couldn’t make up for.
None of them had been the one though, and until he’d met Ryo there had been times he’d wondered if he’d ever meet his Miss or Mister Right. But then he had, and before long he’d been head over heels in love.
The thing was, even though he knew he loved Ryo completely and totally, he couldn’t say exactly what made his gorgeous, dark eyed partner so special. Ryo wasn’t the best looking man he’d ever dated, and he was far from the best in bed; he was inexperienced, although he was a fast learner and getting more skilled and adventurous all the time. Dee certainly had no complaints on that score… well, okay, maybe one small one: he did wish Ryo wanted sex more frequently than he seemed to. The difference in their sex drives led to a certain amount of frustration on Dee’s part, because he’d be raring to go and Ryo would be all, “Give me a break! Don’t you think of anything other than sex?” In that respect, the pair of them weren’t a good match, and yet, Dee couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.
For whatever reason, Ryo was still the only one Dee wanted. He was a kind-hearted, generous, caring man, intelligent even though he could be a total airhead. He was funny, sexy, brave, and loyal, and even when they were getting on each other’s nerves, which they did occasionally, Dee would look at him and just feel incredibly lucky to be loved by this amazing man.
