“You look… suitably festive.” Ryo did his best to keep a straight face, but in the end he couldn’t, almost choking as he tried to swallow a laugh.


“Glad you’re so amused at my expense,” Dee groused. “I look like… I don’t even wanna know. And how come I have to do this anyway? This is always JJ’s gig, he laps this stuff up!”


“Well, seems there was a mix-up and the costume shop sent the wrong size. Mother tried to get them to change it, but they were all out of JJ’s size, so this year you’re it. Sorry.” Ryo’s lips twitched with amusement again. “Look at it this way; it’s for the kids.”


“Isn’t there anyone else can do it? Please, I’m beggin’ ya! This is gonna kill my street cred!”


“Sorry, Dee, you’re the only one it’ll fit. Now be a good Easter Bunny and get hopping!”
