A/N: Drabble and a half, 150 words.
Dee scowled as he thought about the girl; she was obviously just as much a miscreant as the House Ape, picking Ryo’s pocket and trying to make off with his wallet on their first meeting, and now her light-fingered habits had gotten her into serious trouble. He’d seen that coming; it had only been a matter of time before she dipped the wrong pocket.
So what did Ryo do? Just like Bikky before her, he decided to take Carol in and protect her while he and Dee tried to figure out who was after her and why. When was he gonna learn?
Because rather than stay put where she was safe, now Carol had somehow slipped out without them noticing. It was a miracle she hadn’t made off with half of Ryo’s possessions in the process!
They had to find her fast, before she got herself into even more trouble.
