Maybe he was being overly sensitive, but Dee couldn’t help feeling offended. Okay, so he’d been teasing Ryo just a little about developing a crush, but he’d been secretly hoping his partner would admit it was true, that the attraction Dee felt towards him wasn’t as one-sided as Ryo pretended.
Instead, Ryo had dismissed Dee’s comment as his usual sorry attempt at humor. That stung!
It wasn’t even true, it hadn’t been a joke because what Dee felt for this exasperating man was all too real, and growing stronger all the time. But how could he convince Ryo?
Well, there was one sure-fire method Dee could think of to get the message across loud and clear, no chance of any misunderstandings, so he backed Ryo up against the wall and kissed him full on the mouth. No half-hearted little smooch this time, he brought every scrap of his considerable skill to bear, and Ryo couldn’t help but return the kiss, clinging to Dee just to stay on his feet.
‘I’m just that good.’
Pulling back, he gave Ryo’s shoulder a pat; let him think on that for a bit, then maybe he’d be ready to admit the attraction was mutual.
