Ianto Little Smile

Triple Drabble: Stress Relief - Sequel to ‘Deck The Hub’

Title: Stress Relief - Sequel to ‘Deck The Hub’

Author: badly_knitted

Characters: Jack, Ianto

Rating: PG-13

Spoilers: Nada.

Summary: Ianto goes to Jack’s aid, and gets his reward.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

A/N: This one’s for sendian1, who asked to for a sequel to Deck The Hub concerning ‘what Jack will do to make Ianto's efforts worthwhile’.

Jack stuck his head out of his office again, and barked out,

“Ianto! My office! Now!”

Smirking to himself, Ianto obeyed his Captain’s order immediately. He’d been waiting for this all afternoon. As he passed them, he noted with amusement that the rest of the team were quickly gathering their belongings and heading for the exit.

“Something I can do for you, Sir?” he asked, closing Jack’s office door behind him.

Jack looked pathetically at Ianto, waving a Christmas tree branch.

“No matter what I do, I can’t make all the pieces fit together! Help?”

“You only had to ask.”

OoOoOoOoOoO

Ianto removed his Jacket and tie, rolling up his sleeves before getting down to business, which naturally involved plenty of bending over with his back to Jack. He could practically feel Jack’s eyes glued to his arse, following every movement.

Ten minutes later, the artificial tree was properly assembled, ready for decorating. He turned to Jack, smiling politely.

“There you go, Sir. Anything else I can help you with?”

He barely managed to finish the question before finding himself pressed against the nearest wall by a hot, sweaty and very eager Jack.

“I have a few ideas,” Jack replied huskily.

OoOoOoOoO

Ianto’s eyes rolled back in his head.

Oh yes, this was definitely worth waiting for!

A frustrated Jack was a force to be reckoned with, but Ianto gave as good as he got, stripping his captain even as his own clothes seemed to magically disappear. He spared a moment to hope they wouldn’t demolish the tree in their eagerness, then gave himself up to enjoying some very energetic stress relief.

When he was finally capable of coherent thought again, Ianto found himself on the floor underneath Jack. Seemed they’d missed the couch again.

“I should get you frustrated more often.”

The End

Comments

Yummy! Now we know why Ianto was waiting to offer his assistance! Clever boy. Now he gets to be the big hero, and reap his well-deserved rewards!

I loved the "energetic stress relief"--LOL. I do hope he doesn't have to put the tree together again afterwards, though. Or anything else in the office. I can just see him having to stay late into the night repairing the desk, the chairs, re-potting plants, etc. :-p
I think they managed to miss all the furniture, including the couch unfortunately, lol! The probably finished up under the tree, lol!

Now I have visions of Jack's fern clinging to the top of the filing cabinet by its fronds, trying not to get knocked off, lol!

Thank you.

Bahahaha! I can just see the fern, holding on for dear life, as the cabinet rocks. Or maybe even using its fronds to scale the walls out of range, like a spider. :D
Poor fern! When the boys get going, it fears for its life! Maybe it was happier before it became self-aware.
LMAO! And the fun continues when they have to take the tree down...boy, if the floor could only talk! Then again, ...
LOL!

In my experience, taking things apart is somewhat easier than putting them together!

It's Torchwood, maybe one day the floor WILL decide to talk and Ianto will get all embarrassed and try to shut it up. Who knows?

Thank you!

Yes boys...don't land on the tree, those plastic needles are horrible in the wrong places!

That was great! Jack always pays his debts to Ianto. :)
Everything went according to Ianto's carefully constructed plan, he has every right to feel rather smug! Jack is definitely not complaining, he'll put up with anything is this is the result.

Thank you!
ummmm what a nice way to relieve stress! and Ianto always knows when he is needed the best!
He knows what his Jack needs and is always ready and willing to provide the necessary stress relief. Of course it helps if he ensures Jack will get stressed to start with!

Thank you.
aaah so thats why Ianto left Jack to figure out the tree himself LOL

Great fic.
Yep! For really effective stress relief, first get your partner REALLY stressed, then enjoy the results!

Thank you!
Why wasn't I invited to that tree-trimming party? It must've gotten lost in the mail. *giggles*
Must have, I'm sure they wouldn't have neglected to invite you!

Thank you.

“I should get you frustrated more often.”

a crafty Ianto ...
He is VERY crafty, but Jack doesn't mind, he enjoys everything Ianto comes up with.

Thank you.
Nice :-)
Ianto should definitely get Jack frustrated more often!
And you should write about it more often :-P we are slowly dragging you over to the dark side, lol :-)
I've never shied away from hinting, or writing the before and after, I just can't write the bit in the middle, lol!

Jack likes when Ianto gets him all frustrated because he knows he won't be left that way ;)

Thank you.
