A/N: Double drabble.
Owen doubled over, every scrap of air exploding from his lungs, and he dropped to his knees, clutching at himself, eyes popping and face pale, wheezing as he tried to draw oxygen into lungs that seemed to have gone into spasm.
Ianto grimaced, wincing, eyes tearing up in sympathy. Right in the nuts; he knew only too well what that felt like!
“I think you broke Owen,” he said, turning to Jack and seeing the same exact expression on his lover’s face. Jack knew that feeling too.
Toppling onto his side, still trying to get his breath back, Owen curled up in a ball, shielding his abused parts as best he could.
“Do you think it would help if I apologised?” Jack asked.
“Worth a try I suppose, but I wouldn’t count on it.”
“It wasn’t even my fault, not really. I mean, if he’d stayed where he was he would’ve been fine, but he stepped right in front of the ball.”
A pitiful groan came from the man on the ground. At least he seemed to be breathing a bit better, which was an improvement.
“So much for team bonding activities,” Jack sighed. “He’ll never play with us again.”
