Honestly, sometimes Ryo wonders if Dee’s some kind of throwback to caveman times., because subtle he’s not. When he’s in the mood for sex, which is basically all the time, he can be counted on to let Ryo know in no uncertain terms, by pouncing, groping, and kissing… Okay, Ryo doesn’t object to the kissing, but would it kill Dee to ask first instead of just launching a full-on attack?
That’s actually a good question…
Shoving Dee off him and onto the floor, Ryo glares down at his lover. “You couldn’t just ask? Give me some kind of warning instead of just jumping all over me?”
“I’ve tried askin’ and it almost never works. I suggest we have sex, nine times out of ten you come up with some excuse why we can’t, so we don’t do it. If I just jump on ya, half the time ya give in; that’s better odds, so I pounce.”
Ryo has to admit there’s a weird kind of logic to Dee’s reasoning, but… “Am I really that bad?”
“It’s like ‘no’ is kinda your default settin’. I suggest sex and… I don’t know, like even if you want to, part of ya decides ‘no’ is the safer option. If I left it up to you we’d hardly ever do it. But if I can get ya turned on, more often than not the ‘no’ becomes ‘yes’.”
It’s true that once Dee’s kisses and caresses light the fire inside Ryo he’s usually a more than willing participant, it’s just that unlike Dee, he doesn’t think about sex all the time.
“I don’t mean to be like that.”
“I know ya don’t, it’s just hard for me to know what ya want when ya never say. It wouldn’t kill ya to make the first move sometimes, or to say ‘yes’ instead of ‘no’ once in a while. So, do ya want me to go home or do ya wanna go to bed with me? And I mean for sex, not just to sleep. It’s up to you.”
Ryo smiled, decision made. “Let’s go to bed.”
