Drabble: Spring-Cleaning

Title: Spring-Cleaning

Author: badly_knitted

Characters: Ianto, mentions Jack

Rating: PG-15

Written For: Challenge 306 – Under The Sofa at tw100

Spoilers: Nada.

Summary: Ianto’s spring-cleaning unearths a few things.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

Spring-cleaning for the first time since Jack moved in was quite an experience, especially when Ianto moved the sofa to clean underneath.

He discovered three odd socks, a pair of Jack’s boxers, a comb, half a packet of mints, Jack’s blue braces, which had been missing for over a month, a stocking… Ianto smiled dreamily, he remembered that night well; Jack had excellent legs!

Three squares of chocolate from another very enjoyable evening, £7.69 in change, seventeen sweet wrappers, a set of handcuffs, a blindfold and an alien porn magazine.

One thing was certain; life with Jack was never boring!

The End

Yep, John has a serious pair of good looking legs in nylons and in a dress; it's so disheartening sometimes to see a guy look better than you in a dress but he's one of the few who can do them justice.

Boring = Jack not in the dictionary together :D

Serious cute drabble :D :D :D
I can just see Jack trying to be boring and failing miserably, lol!

JB has far better legs than I do, he really does have everything, lol!

Thank you!
Oh, I so agree! He's got a great shape too! I will tell you this: after spending some time interning in Costuming with a theater company here in NY, putting a guy in a dress was the highlight; I was majoring in Fashion Design but never wanted that; preferred Theater because you really get an education there in what you can do. But putting a guy in a dress was the best until I tried to get him to take it off; he was running around the place with a basketball under it pretending to be pregnant and yelling "any day now!". I made the mistake of threatening to cut the dress off him and he positively DARED me to do it, grinning like a damn loon! The Costumer Designer had to tell him to get his ass outta my dress so I could alter it; a purely enjoyable time and much fun watching him pout over having to give up dress :D I think some male actors just like drag and it can be so much fun!
LOL! Actors do love to dress up, you must have had a blast! It sounds like a great job to do, even it is difficult to seperate the actor from the costume afterwards!
It was a career choice that caused a lot of fighting between me and my mother and hubby. They lost; they never listed to what I wanted, only what they wanted. They felt I should only be sewing for money but money dosen't motivate me, even in the computer work I do now. I always wanted Costuming; my mother should have understood since she had a cousin on Broadway who was in 2 well-known musicals-turned-movies. You have to start somewhere and volunteering with a theater group got me what I wanted. I'm ready to go back to it now; I don't want to work in fashion. It's limiting and dosen't give the rush Theater does. Only when an actor has the force of personality like JB does is when Costuming can be difficult but I understand what he does and why. Theater gets in your blood; you have to love it and it never leaves you.
I hope you get to go back to it - if you have a passion for something you should go do it, somehow. It's what makes life worthwhile. Sure, you need money to live, but you need to feel fulfilled too.

Good luck, or should I say Break a leg?
