Summary: Jack tends to ignore the rules of the road.

A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto had no idea how fast they were going, he hadn’t dared look at the speedometer, but the scenery beyond the SUV’s windows was blurring. He was used to Jack’s driving and had grown accustomed to a certain degree of mind-numbing terror because despite appearances, Jack was an excellent driver, with better reflexes than twenty-first century humans could boast. He was, however, not the only driver on the roads, and other motorists were nowhere near as adept at avoiding collisions.
Determinedly focusing on the road ahead, since it was less dizzying than the view out the side window, Ianto spotted something familiar looming up ahead.
“Jack! STOP!”
“What?” Jack glanced towards him. “Why?”
The SUV didn’t even slow, just blasted straight through the junction. It was a miracle they weren’t hit by cross-traffic; the cars on the main road had right-of-way.
“That was a stop sign back there!”
“Was it? I don’t pay much attention to road signs. They’re a nuisance, and very distracting. They could cause an accident; drivers are always looking at them.”
“You’re more likely to cause an accident than the road signs are. They’re designed to prevent them!”
“Then how come they’re always getting knocked down?”
