Drabble: Early To Bed

Title: Early To Bed

Author: badly_knitted

Characters: Ianto, mentions Jack and the team.

Rating: G

Written For: Challenge 361: Sunrise at tw100

Spoilers: Nada.

Summary: The Torchwood workday may be over, but a new day is just beginning.

Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.

Ianto’s had a long day and an even longer night; anyone who thinks working for Torchwood is glamorous and exciting must be insane. It’s no cushy nine-to-five job with weekends off, that’s for sure; working twenty-four hour days isn’t unusual.

Still, the latest apocalypse has been averted and the Rift’s quiet; they might actually get some downtime. Jack says they should go home; nobody needs telling twice.

Ianto reaches his flat at sunrise and feels a pang of regret. Looks like it’ll be a beautiful day, but he won’t get to enjoy it. The only place he’s going is bed!

The End

Better sleep while he can...
Yeah, he needs all the rest he cam get!

Thank you!

Sweet dreams Ianto! :)

Aww, bless him, looks like he's having very happy dreams ;)

Thank you!
Poor Ianto, he must be dead on his feet!
sweet dreams!
He is, I think. Sweet dreams would be nice, I hope he has that kind.

Thank you!
torchwood is probably the hardest place to work for.

I feel for these guys.

great drabble
Yeah, long hours, danger, no respect from the people they protect... Torchwood's lot is not a happy one.

Thank you!
He'll need to be rested when Jack comes calling. Then there will be fun. Meet William and Angelfish, given me when I was born and for my first birthday, so 72 and 71 years old.Named them as a child, so imagine my astonishment when I discovered Professionals fandom

Jack will let him get some sleep first I'm sure ;)

They're a good age and it's nice to see bears staying in their home for so long!

Walter is much younger, he was bought by my mum at a car boot sale some twenty or so years ago, in a very mucky state, but came out of the washing machine looking so wonderfully fluffy I claimed him. My first stuffie was a small and depressed looking lambswool rabbit that I still have, which is now getting on for 54 years old, still a relative youngster compared to your bears though. I have other bears from childhood, but most of those are straw-filled and not very cuddly.
Please put a picture of Walter and rabbit. Anyone else have bears etc to share?
I'll try, I'll have to take them first and poor bun is hiding, I'm sure he can't have gone far though!
But the bed will be so worth it in the end XD *cough*
Yep! Later on, when he's slept enough, Ianto will have more fun.

Thank you!
anyway, if he had had a normal night (ie to sleep), he could not enjoy the day since he was in the Hub!

Thank you!
