Here we are again, another Monday. It's grey, wet, miserable and cold, so to improve things we have.... FIC OF THE WEEK!
There's only one this week, but as it's 16 chapters and an epilogue, it should keep us all entertained for a while.
As you all know, I usually pick fics I've never read, but there's a slight change this week as I have read the first few chapters of this before. Unfotunately, I was reading it on ff.net where it was never finished. To my delight, I recently discovered the complete version over on the Doctor Who Archive site A Teaspoon And An Open Mind, so I'm making it Fic of the Week so I can finally read the whole thing...
The Hunt is by pippychick (whose writing I've enjoyed since I was first introduced to Torchwood fanfiction), and was written between April 2008 and September 2010. It's a Jack/Ianto/PC Andy fic (one of my favourite threesomes), lots of smut with, as I recall, some plot included =)
Some Author's Notes: This will have Ianto/PC Andy. It will also have Jack/Ianto/Andy. Hopefully, it will have a lot of that. The first chapter, before PC Andy appears, Jack and Ianto go weevil hunting. What makes you think that's a euphemism? Just imagine the testosterone! It must be off the scale, and whatever it would be like, I know I haven't captured it as well as I want to. Still, I hope you enjoy it.
I can't wait to get started! I definitely have fond recollections of the first two chapters.... *drools quietly*

Hi J* I'm still alive, promise! lol! Still having a hard time even though we are making progress with my doctors, "finally." I need to write on my LJ about the Rheumotology appointment. I just started taking an immunosuppressant which should (I hope) eventually stop the hives. Bad thing is it doesn't start to work until after two months on it! :( ...so I have to stay on the stupid Prednisone until it starts working. Prednisone is really bad for the body when taken long term.
I broke out for some reason really badly today, small facial swelling and I have been on 10 mg. Prednisone every day. ??? My doctor has called in a pack of them for me to take and then taper off. Something I am coming in contact with must set these attacks off. We are goling to try eating in more. We got lazy and have been going out to eat too much the last week, maybe that's it ? ...but I have never had food allergies. With every answer I get, I seem to get new questions. lol!
Sorry for blabbing on your LJ again. I hope you are doing well. :D

Things have been a bit chaotic here, 'll email you when I have more time, tell you all about everything. It's too late tonight and I have a migraine anyway =( It's not too bad though.
Threesomes aren't everyone's cup of coffee, I know, but there's a lot to like about this fic anyway - including some hot Janto action in the first 2 chapters before Andy gets to join in. I especially recommend A Long Day At The Office, Battleships, Jack's List: The Tourist Office, Jack's List: A Perfect Game, and Tax Doesn't Have To Be Taxing. They're all shortish.

I'm trying to make Christmas cards, among other things, which is hard to fit in and still leave time for reading and writing.
