Jack flopped wearily onto the sofa beside Ianto, glad to be off his feet after chasing around Cardiff all day, rounding up a horde of fuzzy, tennis ball sized aliens.

“Long day,” he groaned.

Ianto cracked open one eye. “Has it only been a day? Feels like longer.”

“I know what you mean. Seems like this morning was about a month ago. I’m not even sure what day it is.”

“Wednesday.” Ianto smirked slightly. “I know everything.”

Tennis-ball-sized aliens...yeah, that would be rather draining! Having to track them all down through a big city, when they're that small...that's gonna be a long day! I think those boys have earned takeout!
Yeah, really exhausting, but they got them all. They definitely deserve to relax with takeout.

Thank you.
Good for them; never a dull moment with Torchwood!

Very welcome!
Jack might argue that the paperwork is dull. Ianto lives for the dull moments when he can actually get some work done ;)
Uhgghghghgh, paperwork! *shudders* Okay, I guess Torchwood does have its dull moments.
Can't get away from the dreaded paperwork! LOL!
Yep definitely the best idea after a long day.

Great drabble.
They'll make up for it with a home-cooked meal tomorrow - if they can decide whose turn it is to cook ;)

Thank you!
Ianto always has the best ideas. Jack knows this.
That's why he lets Ianto make the big decisions ;)

Thank you!

I know how they feel. Some nights I give up making dinner altogether and settle for a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Dinner is a rarity here, I eat whatever's handy because by the time I get something cooked I don't want it. Fruit is easier.

Thank you!
